Florestan I sports a sire line of world importance, that of Furioso II. He has produced many approved stallion sons and many state premium mares. Florestan I is recognized within the breed as a sire who can be relied upon for superior heritability. He produces outstanding basic paces, a beautiful head and lovely temperament. Florestan I has a superb dressage breeding index of 166 and his offspring include the successful young stallions Fleurop and Freudeprinz and the international dressage horses Floriano Deux, Florian Florette and Florian XII.
Sire of 81 approved stallion sons and 126 State Premium mares. Known as "the stamp stallion" for his ability to pass on his excellent neck and shoulder, his good legs, wonderful athletic ability, and tremendous presence. He also often bestowed upon his get a rich chestnut color with blaze, stockings, and belly splash. To this day, many Furioso II descendants can be seen sporting high white stockings, white body splashes, and full blazes extending all the way over the muzzle to the chin.
